Start your engine!

This is a great service for remotely going through your build and setting up a solid basemap for your project.  It is recommended to go through a remote startup process before thinking of bringing a car to the dyno.  Whether it's tuned by CMJDEV.CO or anyone else, the time spent here will find many issues that can save you dyno time and labor down the road.

Requirements:

• A laptop with the proper software and cabling to connect to the vehicle
• A solid internet connection (wifi or ethernet) within connection distance to the vehicle
• UltraViewer for Remote Access (Download link below)
• A timing light for verifying base timing
• A multimeter for basic electrical diagnosis
• Basic hand tools
• A charged battery (laptop and vehicle)

What's included?

• Thorough testing and calibration of all engine related sensors
• Configuring proper injection and ignition data to match your hardware
• Setting, syncing, and verifying engine timing with ECU
• Testing and setup of all outputs including ignition, injection, fans, pumps, etc
• Configuration of engine protection strategies and safeties
• Engine startup!
• Idle and low throttle fueling adjustments
• Confirmation of cooling system and fan/pump logic

What's NOT included?

This session will not yield you a finished and driving vehicle. The car will run and will be capable of idling and moving around the shop. This service is meant to get everything setup in order to have a successful trip to the dyno.  CMJDEV.CO does not do finished remote tunes. We believe and rely heavily on dyno tuning and the controlled environment and exceptional outcomes it provides.

Supported Platforms

We have experience in all types of engine/chassis platforms and most aftermarket ECU's.  We do not work with OEM ECUs or provide any VATS/Emissions removal services.  The following is a list of supported ECU's. We are engine agnostic at this point in the journey and depending on the experience we have with your platform we may suggest going elsewhere for final tuning.  Startup and initial calibration should not be an issue for most platforms though.
